Have you ever been in such a dilemma that when you play a backup disc of a Blu-ray movie on your PS3 or other Blu-ray players for entertainment then something unexpected and unpleasant happens -- the audio of the Blu-ray movie gets muted or it just stops playing, and you see a message on the screen tells you that the content being played is protected by Cinavia and is not authorized for playback on this device. What happened?
What is Cinavia? How does it work?
Cinavia technology is a kind of new protection for movies from theaters and disc releases in DVD & Blu-ray, aiming to limit the use of copies of movies, television shows, and other professionally produced videos that have been made without the permission of the copyright owner.
It requires two parts to work: a proprietary imperceptible audio watermark, and a piece of hardware which is able to detect that watermark. When media with the watermark embedded in the audio track is played back on a system with Cinavia detection, its firmware will detect the watermark and check that the device on which it is being played is authorized for that watermark. If the device is not authorized, a message is displayed stating that the media is not authorized for playback on the device and that users should visit the Cinavia web page for more information. Depending on the device and firmware, once the message is triggered, the audio may be muted, or playback may stop entirely.

DVDFab Blu-ray Copy provides the first universal solution for playback of Cinavia protected Blu-ray on PS3.
DVDFab Blu-ray Copy18.104.22.168
DVDFab Blu-ray Copy firstly supports Cinavia protection in the world and can lead you out of the above plight. How does it work? Blu-ray Copy now can copy any Blu-ray disc with Cinavia watermark, and create a protected disc (BDMV-REC) to disable Civania for playback on PS3. Keep in mind that you can only accomplish this in either "Full Disc" or "Main Movie" mode using Blu-ray Copy, check "Create Protected Disc (BDMV-REC) to disable Cinavia" option, and choose output as BD 50 / BD 25.
You may ask why it's a solution on PS3 but not other Blu-ray players, and why we create BDMV-REC. Since PS3 is the most popular one among the Cinavia enabled BD players, a solution focused on it should come first. And BDMV-REC is very much the same as the original BDMV-ROM (the original disc), with menus, interactivity, BD-Live, etc. DVDFab is working on other Cinavia solutions as well. No time later, a solution which supports protected BDAV and is more compatible with most BD players will come out for use.
