DVDFab DVD Copy - Clone
DVDFab DVD Copy - Clone can make perfect 1:1 bit-to-bit DVD clone. Ideal for dual layer DVD backup, or for PS2 data DVD. Works as a DVD cloner, DVDFab DVD Copy retains the original layer break if the source has one, regardless of whether the "Remove Layer Break" box is checked in Common Settings.
In this mode, DVDFab uses your DVD drive as Source and your writer as the default Target. You can also choose to write the DVD to an ISO image file on your hard drive, but not a DVD (VIDEO_TS) folder. It does not provide compression.
If you want a quick identical copy with a minimum of button pushing, this is the mode for you. Now, let's lean more details on how to clone dvd with this powerful DVD cloner -- DVDFab DVD Copy:
Copy DVD-Video Data Only: This small checkbox prevents DVDFab from copying DVD-ROM or other non-movie content from the original during the clone process. This will also prevent studio-supplied players (InterActual, etc.)or other executable files that may be present from being included on the backup.
Copy Original IFO files: This checkbox forces Clone mode to copy the original disc's IFO files exactly, without removing RC/RCE protection and Prohibited User Operations. This will allow technologies such as Clearplay to function correctly with Cloned discs but will leave the protections and control limits mentioned earlier in place. This box should be left unchecked unless your player and disc support Clearplay and you want this function to operate when the backup is played.
